For a memorable corporate team building activity steeped in royal history, Wildgoose’s Team Building & Treasure Hunt activities in Windsor & Eton combine iconic landmarks, riverside scenery and interactive GPS gameplay. Set beside the River Thames and overlooked by the world-famous Windsor Castle, this charming Berkshire destination offers the perfect backdrop for teams looking to connect, collaborate and explore together.
A treasure hunt in Windsor usually starts near the castle or one of the two stations, and the route can drop down to the Thames, cross the bridge and carry on along Eton High Street. Groups who want more space can take in part of the Long Walk as well.
Using our GPS-enabled Mobile Adventures app, teams will navigate winding streets, riverside pathways and historic market squares while solving clues, completing creative photo and video challenges, and racing against the clock to top the leaderboard. From the grandeur of Windsor Castle and the picturesque Long Walk to the independent shops and cafes of Eton High Street, every corner offers something new to discover.
Whether you’re uncovering hidden gems in the shadow of the castle or taking in the riverside atmosphere along the Thames, Windsor & Eton create the ideal setting for friendly competition, collaboration and unforgettable shared experiences.
Windsor & Eton offer the perfect balance of history, scenery and accessibility, making them a brilliant choice for outdoor team building activities and treasure hunts.
Our Mobile Adventures transform Windsor & Eton into an interactive playground where teams compete to earn points by solving clues, completing challenges and capturing memorable moments along the way.
Designed to encourage communication, collaboration and problem-solving, our experiences are suitable for a wide range of groups and occasions. Whether you’re planning a company away day, team social, networking event or celebration, our flexible activities can be tailored to suit your objectives and schedule.
With activities available for groups of up to 250 participants and flexible timings available, Windsor & Eton provide a unique and memorable location for your next team event.

Not all the time. Mobile Adventures is a secure, native app, and the whole activity downloads to your Team Captain’s phone before you start (Wi-Fi is easiest for this). Everything is stored on the phone, so the activity keeps working when signal comes and goes. With a basic data connection you’ll get the most out of it: your photos and videos reach our host as you go, and you’ll get live messages and bonus tasks. If you lose signal, keep playing. Everything uploads once you’re back on data.
No, the beauty of all our activities is that they can are played from your own smartphone.
Almost anywhere, yes. Our GPS games are most often played in city centres, larger towns, or the grounds of a hotel or venue, and they work in any location where the route is safe with good paths and walkways.
We run outdoor team building activities across a wide range of locations, including several areas of London, but the same game runs just as well around your own office or in a nearby park. Just tell us where when you book. One thing worth knowing: Urban Explorer needs a town or city centre, because its photo and video challenges rely on landmarks and shops being close by. For a smaller town, hotel grounds or a venue like a theme park, we would point you at one of our other GPS games instead.
We always recommend choosing one of our hosting options to create a high-energy experience for your team. However, we also offer a selection of self-managed team activities too.
You play outdoors on your own smartphones, guided by GPS. Teams set off from a start point you choose, and as each team reaches a GPS hotspot the app unlocks the next clue, puzzle or challenge.
One of our hosts briefs everyone at the start, stays on hand throughout to support teams and keep the energy up, then wraps up with the results at the end. Remote hosting comes as standard, and an onsite host can join your group in person instead for an additional fee. There is no equipment for us to deliver and nothing to install on site, which is why an outdoor escape game can be booked with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
Tell us what you have in mind and our team will help you plan the perfect event.
