Why Virtual Escape Rooms for Team Building?
They run over Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or any video platform your team already uses, with everyone playing on their phone in our Mobile Adventures app. A live remote host runs the event, or you can self-manage Arctic Survival and Art Heist, and your group splits into competing teams of 4 to 6 with room for up to 300 players across time zones. Games last 45 to 90 minutes, and every team’s scored on one live leaderboard.
Prices start from $22 per person. Some games add a $500 fee for a live host, and each game’s page shows its full price. Virtual escape rooms sit alongside quizzes and murder mysteries in our virtual team building activities. Teams who prefer a whodunnit can try a virtual murder mystery instead.
Christmas escape rooms for work teams
At the end of the year, Escape: Festive Edition is the same format with a festive story wrapped around it. Santa’s lost his naughty and nice list, and teams of four to six have 45 minutes to work through five festive rooms of riddles and codes with a remote host on video. It’s a popular choice for a virtual Christmas party because there’s no venue to book and no kit to hire, so it can be arranged at short notice in December when everything else is booked up. It sits alongside the rest of our Christmas team building activities.

Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, you’ll need a stable internet connection for the video call with your team and for the Mobile Adventures app you play the game in.
How do Virtual Escape Rooms work on the day?
Teams will be briefed by one of our Remote Hosts then break off into smaller groups to ensure maximum engagement during your Virtual Escape Room. Our expert Remote Host will be on standby throughout the activity to support teams, encourage communication and provide a fun wrap-up at the end of the Virtual Escape Room.
How many people can play a virtual escape room?
Our virtual escape rooms work for groups from 5 to 300 participants. Your host splits larger groups into competing teams of 4 to 6, all scored on one live leaderboard.
Do Online Escape Rooms help with social interaction?
Yes! All of our Virtual Escape Rooms have been created with social interaction as a priority. Challenges will encourage teams to spark conversations, work together and have lots of fun, all from the safety and comfort of working from home.
How long does each Virtual Escape Room last?
Our Virtual Escape Rooms last 45 to 90 minutes depending on the game, including the host’s briefing and wrap-up. Zombie Apocalypse and Festive Edition run for 45 minutes and Jungle Survival for 90. Arctic Survival and Art Heist come in a 60 or 90 minute version, so you can pick the one that fits your diary.
What devices do I need?
You’ll need two things for our Virtual Escape Rooms. A laptop or computer to join the video call with your team, and a smartphone (iOS or Android) or tablet to play in our Mobile Adventures app.
